Restarting a SpatialUnderstanding scan

When using SpatialUnderstanding, is it possible to start a new scan after finalizing one? It appears that this functionality doesn't work. In other words, after calling RequestFinishScan() and waiting for mesh import (and initializing the solver, etc.), is it possible to start over again with RequestBeginScanning()?

It looks to me like there is no way to clean up the internal state and the various SpatialUnderstanding mesh objects persist, with no new ones added.

Short of destroying the SpatialUnderstanding prefabs altogether and re-instantiating them (which may not solve the problem because the underlying C++ library may have its own persistent state), has anyone managed to get this working?

My use case is that I would like users to re-do their room scan from scratch if the placement solver is unable to place required items (indicating too small of a play area, or a poorly scanned one).
