WiFi adapter on Hololens gone

Hi All,

last week I was suddenly unable to connect with the hololens to my WLAN anymore. Looking at the Network settings I did not see a WiFi Adapter anymore. I tried switching the hololens off by holding the power button for 5 Seconds but that didn't work. Holding the power button for 10 seconds also didn't solve the problem. After that I did a device reset. Now the initialization does not get past the screen after you select your country. It always jumps back. I presume here is were you have to enter your WiFi settings.
I also tried the device recovery procedure but here I have the same problem.

For me it looks like the WiFi adapter is broken. Is there somebody here who had the same problem and got that solved?

I contacted MS support and they told me I have to buy a new hololens because I have a developer edition without any warranty. This I find very poor support. They need early adopters to support development on mixed reality and now they make us pay twice when the device gets broken.

But maybe one of you might have a idea how I can solve it

Regards,
Arthur
